Dublin Branch RMATUI
To RMATUI Colleagues
Ardnacrusha Power Station had the distinction of being the largest hydroelectric station in the world at the time of completion in 1929. For many years now, the station has been and is a tourism attraction in its own right.
Compliments of ESB the Power Station is open for public tours from July 3rd to September 8th.
RMA Dublin branch has booked a tour for Wednesday 16th August for the 12.30pm tour.
Initially it was hoped to book a bus for the trip, however cost proved prohibitive. A combination of train and car are the preferred options.
Date: Wednesday 16th August – 12.30pm tour
Tour duration: 90 minutes
Transport: Train & Private Car
For booking and additional information contact branch joint secretary – Daithi Mac an Aircinn
